イベント情報：
ラテン文化センターティエンポが、団体設立（1997年）以来、毎夏に開催する国際野外音楽フェスティバル「イスラ・デ・サルサ」。

姪浜からフェリーに乗ること10 分。木々のトンネルを抜けると目の前に広がる博多湾、その向こうには福岡の街が覗く。
ビーチを見ると、たくさんの椰子の木に囲まれたステージ、そこからは陽気なラテンのリズムが聞こえてくる。ステージでは国内外のトップレベルのミュージシャンやダンサー達と観客がひとつになり、老いも若きも、男も女も、子供も大人も、日本人も外国人も誰もがリズムにあわせて自然と踊りだす。まるでカリブ海にいるかのように錯覚させる“ 異空間”。
ビーチではバナナボートに絶叫する人、のんびりと日光浴を楽しむ人、ラテンの味を堪能する人、ライブに熱狂する人、生演奏で存分にダンスを満喫する人・・・。それぞれの楽しみ方で「サルサの島」を満喫している。
いろんなスパイスが混ざり合い新しい味のサルサ（＝スペイン語でソースの意）が出来上がるように、様々なジャンルの音楽やダンス、会場にいる皆それぞれの持ち味が混ざった新しいサルサを皆で愉しむのが「イスラ・デ・サルサ（サルサの島）」。

23回目を迎える今回はキューバからElito Revé y su Charangón (エリート・レベ・イ・ス・チャランゴン)をメインバンドに！結成以来63年世界中のサルサファンを熱狂させてきた最高峰オルケスタによるキューバンダンスサウンドの進化系トップ楽団のライブパフォーマンスをお楽しみください！

Welcome to Isla de Salsa! In Spanish, “salsa” means sauce. The ingredients for making the festival so rich come not only from the professional international and local musicians who fill the air with sounds that inspire even the uninitiated to dance, but also from every person who comes to spice up and savor the feast of activities, contributing to enriching the “sauce” of the festival.

Whether you spend the day listening to music by top artists, dancing, gazing at unique artistic works, savoring a BBQ on the beach and big paella, riding a banana boat or just sun bathing, why not hop across the bay and get stirred into another world!

Leading Cuban salsa band Elito Revé y su Charangón will appear in Japan as this year’s artist for the 17th Vivela Salsa Tour. The summer tour, organized by NPO Tiempo Iberoamericano since 2002, brings the top performers of Afro-Caribbean music to Japan and the Asia-Pacific region. Elito Revé has taken on the challenge of leading and updating the sound of his father’s legendary orchestra to secure its place at the forefront of Havana’s dance scene as the “Steamroller of Cuba.” He has drawn on the legacy of Elio Revé, who is revered for popularizing the changüí sound of Cuba’s Guantanamo region, and given it a fresher, crisper modern sound that flattens a clear path toward the dance floor for all.

In August, get ready to be rolled over by the tension and pressure of this top Cuban band that has been pounding audiences with high energy music for more than half a century.
